Aquarius Drilling & Water Treatment is based in Oakleigh South in Melbourne’s south-east and works on properties right across Victoria. Our technicians travel to you to test the water, install and commission bore pumps, desalination units and treatment systems, and service what we have installed. Every quote starts the same way: tell us where the property is, what water you have (bore, dam, rainwater tank or town water) and what you need it for, and send a water analysis if you have one – or we will test on site.

Our home patch. From Oakleigh South we cover Melbourne’s south-east and bayside – Bentleigh, Brighton, Beaumaris, Cheltenham, Mordialloc, Dingley, Keysborough, Dandenong, Cranbourne, Berwick, Glen Waverley, Mount Waverley and surrounds – and the rest of metropolitan Melbourne by appointment. The sandbelt suburbs sit over shallow groundwater, so many homes here run a garden bore; the water is often high in iron and can be salty, which is where our iron and iron-bacteria treatment and small desalination units come in. On town water the common jobs are whole-house chlorine removal, water softeners and calcite pH correction where soft Melbourne water is dissolving copper pipes.


Lifestyle properties, hobby farms, vineyards, market gardens and holiday homes from Frankston and Mount Eliza through Mornington, Mount Martha, Dromana, Rosebud, Rye, Sorrento, Red Hill, Main Ridge, Balnarring, Somerville, Tyabb and Hastings. Many peninsula properties are outside the mains water network and rely on bores and rainwater tanks. Bore water here is frequently brackish and iron-affected – our reverse osmosis desalination units (wall-mount for a home, skid systems for irrigation) and submersible bore pumps are the systems the peninsula most often needs, along with UV and Hydrosil disinfection for tank water and dam aeration.
Geelong, Lara, Leopold, Ocean Grove, Barwon Heads, Portarlington, Drysdale, Queenscliff, Torquay, Anglesea and the surrounding farmland. Coastal aquifers on the Bellarine and Surf Coast tend to be salty, and hobby farms and rural blocks often combine a bore with rainwater. We install bore water desalination, softeners for hard water, and rainwater disinfection systems, and we can arrange water bore drilling and pump installation for new supplies.

Gippsland farms lean heavily on dams, creeks and bores: we treat coloured dam and river water with flocculation, keep dams healthy with aeration, dose chlorine for stock and dairy supplies, clean up iron-blocked bores with CIB, and size bore pumps for irrigation and stock water.

Email a water analysis if you have one. 2. Testing. If there is no analysis we can test on site – salinity, hardness, iron, pH, bacteria, turbidity – or arrange a lab test. 3. Recommendation and quote. Shalom sizes the pump or treatment system to your test results and flow rate and quotes supply, installation and commissioning. 4. Installation. We install, commission and test the system, train you to run it and leave you with the maintenance log and service schedule. 5. Ongoing service. Annual servicing, filter and lamp changes, CIB bore clean-ups and membrane cleaning – we look after what we install.

We can assess it, but we only warrant systems we have designed and installed. Because sizing depends on your water test and flow rate, it is usually cheaper in the long run to have us specify the system from the start.
Yes. Annual servicing, filter cartridges, UV lamps, resin and membrane cleaning, dosing pump seals and CIB bore treatments are all part of the service schedule we leave you with.
